WILL 2024 Fall Cohort

Event Date: October 25, 2024

We recently concluded another WILL program for an amazing cohort of women! Every time we bring a cohort together and we see the changes in attitudes, self-confidence and mindset through the program, we are reminded of the importance of investing in women and continuously building a strong pipeline of women leaders.

There were a lot of experiences to share, unpack and learn in the workshops and here are a few key takeaways:

1. Women are constantly being pulled in multiple directions and we need to learn to be present wherever we are and resist the urge to multitask. When we are present, we must TAKE UP SPACE by being visible, vocal and confident.

2. The women in our program got to where they are because they are excellent at what they do. However, the hallmark of great leadership is being able to work through other people, delegate and coach and this is a major mindset shift!

3. Building a strategic network is not manipulative, impersonal or self-serving. It is IMPERATIVE to be deliberate about this because there is mutual value in them and it can lead to opportunities for growth, learning and advancement.

4. There is always an urge to do everything “perfectly”, but we need to embrace “good enough”. We also need to give ourselves grace to make mistakes, but be knowledgeable enough to pivot and take the learning.

Thank you to Nancy DeViney, Ashley Baquie, Fasika Tefera, MBA, PCC, Anne Steen, M.Ed, PCC, Mary Alice Callahan and Karen Wilson for being incredible facilitators for this workshop!

I look forward to connecting with the new cohort and seeing continued progress in their upcoming individual coaching sessions!
