Kathleen Wisemandle

Executive Coach and Senior Consultant

Kathleen Wisemandle is an Executive Coach for SHAMBAUGH. Kathleen is a compassionate strategic consultant and leadership coach with over 30 years in biotechnology and pharma industries. She coaches from a place of curiosity, empathy and understanding of the complex, fast paced environments leaders face today. Her coaching impact is enhanced by her business and technical acumen in addition to her graduate degree in adult and organizational learning and design principles, with a focus on organizational efficiency.

Kathleen has coached and developed highly skilled teams across clinical development within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, with a focus on developing talent, building leaders and finding efficiencies while having fun and building trust with psychological safety. Kathleen leads and coaches with a system approach to problems and strategy, understanding the key intersectionality of process, technology, and people. She led cross-functional program teams to NDA and sNDA submissions as well as leading early phase portfolio teams submitting multiple INDs per year. She has worked with leaders across the industry to develop best industry practices.

With her focus for operational efficiency, Kathleen helped define and implement agile processes to improve business metrics for investment decision and Increased process and resource efficiency. As a leader, she emphasized employee development, coaching, change management and defining process gaps and improvements with internal and external stakeholders.

Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University and a MS in Learning and Organizational Change at Northwestern University. Kathleen has certifications in Designing for Organizational Efficiency, Northwestern University; Executive Learning & Organizational Change Coaching Certification, Northwestern University; Change Intelligence (CQ) Certification, Change Catalysts.
