Robert Calabrese

Robert Calabrese is a Senior Consultant, masterful Facilitator, and Executive Coach for SHAMBAUGH. Robert has 20 years of experience working with corporate leaders and teams in areas to include High Performing Work Team Effectiveness, Managing and Developing Talent, Workplace Communication, Inclusive Work Cultures, Employee Engagement, Coaching and Feedback, Managing Conflict, and Leading Change. Robert works closely with leadership and management teams to help create change by challenging assumptions and questioning status quo in order to enable a healthy organizational culture and deepen employee engagement.

Robert uses his talents and experience in individual and organizational development to help business leaders, managers, teams, and non-profit Boards to increase engagement by identifying their core strengths and successfully applying them to their aspirations and strategic goals. Robert’s successful clients span both the for-profit and non-profit sectors including, with an emphasis in the financial services industry.

Robert worked at Merrill Lynch for 10 years in a variety of leadership and management development capacities, including manager of North America Sales Support training, and Director of Global Leadership Development supporting General Counsel, Finance, HR, Treasury, Corp. Audit, and Operations.

Robert is a philosopher at heart, he believes that people are inherently good and can be trusted to do what is right, and that everyone deserves do-overs and second chances. Robert loves music and has almost perfect pitch. He loves exploring cuisine from his Calabrian and Tuscan roots, and enjoying the ocean with his husband, Scott in Asbury Park, NJ.
